The Quarantine Zone Rules
To maintain a fair, high-performance, and enjoyable environment for everyone, all players are expected to adhere to the following rules. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse.
7. Base Building
Rules regarding base limits, location restrictions, and construction standards.
- 7.1 Base Limits:
- One Base Policy: Only ONE base per group is allowed.
- Flag Poles: A maximum of Two Flag Poles are allowed within that single base.
- Building Height: Watchtowers or walls may only be 6 floors high.
- Gate Limit: Maximum of 20 Code-locked Gates per base. Not complying with this will result in the removal of gates without notice.
- 7.2 Building Locations & Restrictions:
- Vanilla Buildings: Groups must not take over more than one Vanilla building for their base. You are allowed one extra building specifically to park cars.
- Restricted Zones: No building within 200 meters of military compounds.
- Prohibited Buildings: No building in Police Stations, Guard Houses, Hospitals, or Prisons.
- Roads: Building on roads is prohibited.
- Special Permits: For construction in "grey areas" or for additional space, please open a support ticket.
- 7.3 Accessibility & Entrances (Anti-Griefing):
- Walkable Access: Your base must be reachable by walking. Any base that is only reachable by performing actions (climbing, jumping, crouching, crawling, chopping trees, etc.) is illegal.
- Penalty: Walls will be deleted to create a walkable entrance.
- Raidable Entrance: Your base must include at least one raidable entrance.
- Raid Tunnels: Gates in raid tunnels must be fully accessible.
- Traps: Trap bases, bases with trapping areas, barbed-wire tunnels, and using ladders as traps are strictly prohibited.
- 7.4 Construction Mechanics:
- Clipping:
- Clipping Gates into vanilla textures or built walls is prohibited.
- Clipping Walls into other walls or vanilla textures is permitted.
- Obstruction: Blocking access to storage or blocking gate poles is prohibited.
- Floating Structures: Floating structures are strictly prohibited.
- Illegal Items: Log walls of any kind are prohibited.
- 7.5 Helicopters:
- You may not land the helicopters in an inaccessible area.
- You may not store/stash loot in areas that are only accessible via helicopters.
8. Raiding
Rules regarding raid times, mechanics, and conduct.
- 8.1 Schedule & Definitions:
- Raid Time: Raiding is allowed from Friday 16:00 to Sunday 23:59 (UK Time).
- Definition: A raid is considered "Active" when gates are destroyed, explosives are used, a breaching charge is placed, or you legally enter a base.
- Raid End: A raid is considered "Over" if:
- No damage has been done to the base for 60 minutes.
- OR all raiders have left the base.
- 8.2 Mandatory Recording:
- Strict Requirement: Raids must be recorded from the moment of entering until leaving the base.
- Penalty: Failure to record a raid will result in a Ban.
- Privacy: Raid recordings will be reviewed by Admins only and will not be shown to other players.
- 8.3 Raid Mechanics & Entry:
- Target: Only Gates are raidable.
- Entry Methods:
- Glitching or merging through walls is prohibited.
- Entering through windows is acceptable.
- Boosting:
- Boosting is restricted to a stack of 2 objects in total.
- A player, car, or item counts as an "object."
- Excluded Items: Trucks, gardening plots, fireplaces, helicopters and MMG items do not count toward the limit or cannot be used. Helicopters cannot be used to enter a base or skip gates.
- 8.4 Conduct & Looting (Anti-Griefing):
- Loot Destruction: Intentional destruction, despawning, "pop-corning," burning, or careless handling of loot is prohibited.
- This rule also applies to Base owners: destroying, dropping or burning own loot is not allowed.
- Exception: Vehicles may be destroyed.
- Storage Etiquette: Unwanted loot must be placed back in proper storage. If a storage container is removed/destroyed, the loot inside must be transferred to another storage solution.
- Base Takeover: Taking over other players’ bases is prohibited.
- Logging Out:
- Logging out within an enemy base is prohibited.
- Logging out during an active raid is considered Combat Logging.
- If you are kicked or the server resets, you are required to log back in.
- 8.5 Defender Rebuilding Rules:
- During Active Raid:
- Owners are allowed to rebuild, but only gates that have been destroyed may be rebuilt and secured.
- Placing code locks on gates that were not destroyed is prohibited.
- Building new (extra) gates during a raid is prohibited.
- After Raid: As soon as the raid is declared "Over" (see 8.1), defenders can build new code-locked gates.
