TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("The User") and the administrators of The Quarantine Zone ("The Server"). By purchasing any digital item or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. NATURE OF THE TRANSACTION 2.1. Contribution for Upkeep: While we use the term "Donation" colloquially to reflect the community nature of this project, legally you are purchasing a digital service. All funds received are strictly applied to the operational costs of the server (hardware, software licenses, and maintenance). 2.2. Not for Profit: This store is not designed for commercial profit. It exists solely to sustain the availability of the DayZ community servers for all players. 2.3. No Pay-to-Win: In strict compliance with Bohemia Interactive’s Monetization Policy, we do not sell gameplay advantages (e.g., weapons, health, ammo). All purchasable items are purely cosmetic (e.g., flags, clothing) or convenience-based (e.g., queue priority).

3. DIGITAL DELIVERY 3.1. Method: All items and services are delivered digitally via our Discord Ticket System or automated in-game insertion. No physical goods will be shipped. 3.2. Timeframe: We are a volunteer-run community. While we aim for immediate delivery, please allow up to 48 hours for an administrator to manually process your request. 3.3. Completion: The service is deemed "fully delivered" the moment the digital item is added to your character or your SteamID is added to the Priority List.

4. UK CONSUMER RIGHTS & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL 4.1. Waiver of Cooling-Off Period: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase. However, by requesting immediate access to your purchase, you expressly waive this right. You acknowledge that once the service/item has been delivered, the contract is complete, and you lose your right to cancel. 4.2. No Refunds: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for "change of mind" once the item has been delivered.

5. UNAUTHORIZED PURCHASES & LIABILITY 5.1. Authority to Purchase: By completing a transaction, you warrant that you are the authorized holder of the payment method used (PayPal/Card) or have the express permission of the account holder. 5.2. Disclaimer: We accept no liability for purchases made by individuals lacking the mental capacity to consent or by minors acting without parental supervision. 5.3. Parental Responsibility: If a minor uses a parent's payment method without permission, we treat this as a failure of parental supervision. We cannot "return" a digital service once used. Unauthorized chargebacks will result in a permanent blacklist of the associated SteamID and IP address.

6. SERVER WIPES & ITEM PERSISTENCE 6.1. The "Wipe" Cycle: DayZ is a game that requires periodic "Server Wipes" (complete map resets) to maintain performance and install updates. 6.2. Loss of Items: You acknowledge that in-game items (e.g., Flags, Custom Bases, Clothing) are subject to these wipes. If the server wipes 2 days after you purchase a flag, that flag will be deleted along with the map (unless the item or service is described as "permanent", meaning the wipes will not delete the purchase item or service). We do not refund or restore items lost to scheduled Server Wipes. 6.3. Service Persistence: "Time-based" services (e.g., 1 Month Priority Queue) are not affected by wipes and will continue to run for their full duration regardless of map resets.

7. TERMINATION OF SERVICE 7.1. Bans & Conduct: Purchasing an item does not grant you immunity from the Server Rules. If you are banned for cheating, toxicity, or exploitation, you forfeit all purchased items and remaining services immediately. No refunds will be issued to banned players.
